To me, photos are so important.

People want to remember their most important moments through images, I know I do. When I'm missing Italy the first thing I do is head to my camera roll and look through all the images. Why do we do this? Because looking at one image can bring us right back to that moment in time. The feelings we were experiencing, the delicious meal we shared with loved ones and the laughs that were had with each other. All of the experiences, adventures and meals can be brought back to you within one look of an image.

Now, imagine that feeling when you have a 12 year old daughter and on the eve of her thirteenth birthday you crawl into bed with her newborn album and remember all of those sleepless nights staring at her, the first time you saw her smile back at you, those first steps. The memories will come back to you within a rush and you'll be so thankful to yourself for having that moment in her life documented.
